Loki is a jerk and you should probably punch him. I'm just saying.

This is the MCU Loki, coming in from between the first Thor movie and The Avengers. He hasn't yet encountered the Chitauri or gotten his fun glowy scepter; he's been rattling around in whatever the heck spacey wormhole he dropped into at the end of Thor. His usual appearance, when he's looking like himself, is that of a pale young black-haired man, usually wearing black and green. But he's very good at not looking like himself.

It's a little vague what his powers are when he doesn't have a prop like Odin's spear or the Mind Stone scepter, but they definitely include lots of illusiony tricks. He can be invisible, can make himself look like anything he wants, can project images of himself or anything else, etc. If your character is a very high-powered magic-user, psychic, god, etc., they may be able to see through it: hit me up with a message first? He can pull off pretending to be Odin on Asgard, and he can hide from Heimdall who sees everything, so he's pretty damn good. One thing that's very vague is the extent to which his illusions and shapeshifting have physical tangible form; I'm bullshitting that for now until we get more info. He's also a good fighter, even though magic is his first choice, and he deserves can take a lot of damage.
